Mrs. Duffy
Career: Mrs. Duffy is a graduate from California Baptist University with a credential in moderate/severe special education. Mrs. Duffy is in her 10th year teaching for MVUSD. She spent her first two years teaching elementary ages and has been with the Adult Transition Program ever since. She has always been passionate about people with disabilities, having a couple family members with severe disabilities themselves-- the love started at a very young age. Perhaps the thing she is most passionate about it assisting each student in learning some form of functional communication and putting it to use in natural settings. Mrs. Duffy loves the freedom of ATP to involve students in constant community based instruction and vocational opportunities. Every year is exciting and new with ever-changing needs of the individual students! Mrs. Duffy is also thankful to be at Murrieta Mesa High School with supportive administration and staff; a fantastic environment for staff and students!
Personal life: Mrs. Duffy is married and is the proud mother of a spunky 4 year old boy. She has 2 dogs and a cat. She loves baseball, playing the piano, reading, cooking, and Pinterest.

Miss Liz (Baca)
Career: In January 2013 we were blessed with Miss LIZ! She worked on another ATP class on campus, and due to lower enrollment, was switched to our room. She has been a wonderful addition to the classroom. We LOVE her bubbly personality, positive attitude, and smile! She's been working hard to learn the ins and outs in the classroom and what makes each student tick. As of summer 2013, I am pleased to announce that Miss Liz has OFFICIALLY been hired as permanent staff in our classroom!
Personal life: Miss Liz has three boys that attend Murrieta schools. They enjoy sneaking away to weekend beach trips whenever possible.
